It's That Wonderful Time of the Year

Okay, I know that many of you LSAT studying people might perhaps be in a less than happy state. Sure, getting up everyday and cracking open a fresh Reading Comprehension section only to look forward to a slew of Logic Games and Logical Reasoning questions may not seem ideal. Sure, foregoing all those parties and late-night movie premieres and roller derby competitions may not have been first on your list. But, is that reason enough to be a full-fledged scrooge during the best time of the year? No, of course it isn't.

Late Fall/Winter time is the prettiest and holiday-iest time of the year. Be a little festive and crack a smile in between your LSAT prep. I know it might be a little difficult to find the things to be thankful for during this time, which is why I have created a list of things I love about this season so that I may reacquaint you with the lovely time that is now.

(1) All the Seasonal Flavors

You may be sick of all the cinnamon, pumpkin, nutmeg, eggnog and mint flavored desserts, drinks, candies, and foods come February, but for the next few months you can indulge in the aroma that is wintertime.

(2) Red Cups at Starbucks®

This may seem trivial, but every November when Starbucks® breaks out their bright red Starbucks® cups that have white snowflakes speckled on them, I can't help but feel all warm and tingly inside. Step into one of the thousands of Starbucks® on your street and you'll see what I'm talking about.

(3) Winter Clothes

Whether you're in New York or in Los Angeles, winter time means more layers! Winter clothes and layers are the cutest and most fashionable clothes. You have some many more accessories to work with, and let's face it, most people look better in those dark fall and smoky winter colors!

(4) Holiday Parties

Okay, so you may find this list item cruel, but, bear with me. However much you are trying to avoid all those Saturday night parties, you can't not go to a holiday party and enjoy a warm cup of hot toddy or cool thick eggnog. I, as your LSAT prep mentor, am telling you, my LSAT padwon, you are allowed to go to at least one holiday party (as long as you don't stay up too late or drink too much).

I mean, really, do I have to go on? We've got everything from a more appropriate time to watch all those amazing holiday movies to perfect reasons to kiss that special someone of yours (mistletoe, duh!). So stop being such a Grinch, and get into the holiday spirit!

Happy Studying!

And Happy Thanksgiving!
